A family of mirrors that defy the rigidity of frame geometry
The new Shift mirror collection for Fiam is born from the meeting of orthogonal lines and smoothed surfaces, resulting in a family of monomaterial, plastic complements made from the viscous glass paste.
The elastic dynamism between the classic mirrored surface and the firmness of the smoked glass part sets the rhythm of the composition, which seems to want to free itself in the surrounding space, attracted by a centripetal force, but balanced by an opposing tension that firmly anchors it in the frame, dramatized by vertical grooves.
The project celebrates Fiam’s expertise in the glass fusion technique, giving rise to new expressions of glass with unique three-dimensional decorative patterns, the result of industrial precision combined with artisanal care.
The wall-mounted or smaller-sized formats adapt to different areas of the home, where they reflect images and return segments of a reality that is much more than the simple sum of its parts.
